Our team is composed of comprehensively trained Pilates teachers and movement professionals with backgrounds in classical Pilates, dance, kinesiology, and physical therapy. Each teacher brings deep technical expertise and a thoughtful, individualized style to every session. Together, they create an environment where clients feel supported, challenged, and empowered to build lasting strength and confidence through authentic Pilates.

Gina Ippolito

Gina is a classically trained Pilates instructor dedicated to helping clients build strength, balance, and confidence through mindful movement. With extensive training from Core Pilates NYC, including a 600-hour Comprehensive Certification and specialized credentials in advanced and classical mat work, she brings both technical expertise and creative sequencing to every class. Her approach honors classical Pilates principles while remaining accessible to all levels. She specializes in working with clients managing lumbar issues, hip replacements, knee injuries, and osteoporosis, always prioritizing precision and safety. Warm and encouraging, Gina believes Pilates is about so much more than exercise; it's about feeling capable and strong in everyday life. She's passionate about guiding clients toward lasting confidence in their practice.

Katie Kunselman


Upper East Side

Katie Kunselman is a certified Pilates teacher and professional dancer dedicated to enhancing her clients' lives through mindful movement. With a strong foundation in anatomy, kinesiology, and movement analysis, she combines her outgoing personality with a thoughtful teaching style tailored to each client's unique needs. Introduced to Pilates during her senior year at the University of South Florida, Katie was captivated by its transformative power and went on to earn her Pilates certification in 2024 under the guidance of Dena Curtin. Now teaching both solo and group classes in New York City, she finds immense fulfillment in helping others connect with their bodies, build confidence, and embrace the depth of mindful movement.

Cara Moorcroft


Upper East Side | East Hampton

Cara is a classically trained Pilates instructor certified through The Pilates Center's Advanced Teacher Training Program (2016) and the Kathy Grant Heritage Training (2019). She studied under Erika Linton and Suzanne Staehr at The Pilates Workshop in San Francisco. After owning a private Pilates studio in Marin County, California (2017–2021), Cara relocated to Brooklyn, where she continues teaching and helping clients discover the transformative power of classical Pilates. A former competitive swimmer, Cara discovered Pilates after having children and experiencing how years of athletic training affected her adult body. She was drawn to the Method's unique ability to heal recurring injuries while building whole-body strength and resilience. When not teaching, Cara enjoys live music, time with loved ones, the outdoors, and movement in all its forms.

Katrina Rinne, PT, DPT


Upper East Side

Katrina is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 25+ years of clinical experience integrating Pilates and functional movement sequencing. She opened Mobile's first fully-equipped Pilates studio at 25, later earning her DPT from Washington University in St. Louis (2015), where she specialized in Movement System Impairment analysis. Her therapeutic approach blends corrective exercise with a biopsychosocial framework, emphasizing strength, mobility, and motor control. Over the past seven years, she's developed expertise in pelvic floor health and hypermobility disorders (hEDS, HSD), delivering trauma-informed, whole-person care. Licensed in Tennessee and New York, Katrina currently serves as a physical therapist at Vanderbilt's Osher Center for Integrative Health in Nashville while maintaining a private Pilates and Physiotherapy practice in New York City.

Brielle Blood


Studio Director

Brielle Blood is a Pilates instructor in the NYC metro area with a lifelong background in dance and gymnastics. She blends classical and contemporary Pilates to create sessions that are both energizing and restorative, helping clients feel strong, supported, and more connected to their bodies. She’s more than excited to be in the role of Studio Manager at KZ Pilates+. Raised in Salem, Massachusetts, Brielle holds a BA in English and Sociology from Connecticut College and brings over 14 years of stage acting experience to her expressive, engaging teaching style. Known for her uplifting presence and inclusive approach, she creates a welcoming environment where clients move with intention and leave feeling empowered.

Reini Pochron


East Hampton

Reini has been teaching Classical Pilates since 2017. She received her 600-hour Comprehensive Certification from Power Pilates under Julie Cordier, who studied with Kathi Ross-Nash, Jay Grimes, and Bob Liekens and applied their concepts during Reini's training. She has additional knowledge and experience working with special cases, including pregnancy, herniated discs, scoliosis, fibromyalgia, and post-injury rehabilitation. She has supported clients new to pilates and those managing back pain, neck injuries, and other chronic conditions with a thoughtful, individualized approach. Reini focuses on pain management, postural alignment, and core strength development for all fitness levels. She is passionate about teaching clients how to engage their core in everyday movement to improve stability, build stamina, increase flexibility, and enhance overall strength. Her classes are designed to meet you where you are and help you feel your best. Her goal is to help you move with control, build strength from the inside out, and leave each session feeling taller, stronger, and more connected in your body.

Shelby Slauer


Upper East Side

Shelby holds a BFA in Film & Television from NYU and a Flow Pilates 500-Hour Comprehensive Certification, and is thrilled to bring her experience to KZ Pilates+. Shelby discovered Pilates in 2021 after experiencing a series of injuries as a tennis player. The practice quickly became integral to both her rehabilitation and her mental health. She's passionate about the mind-body connection Pilates facilitates as we build intentional strength. Its benefits have even shown up in, and now feel intrinsically connected to, her work as a writer and actor. As an instructor, Shelby creates a bubbly, warm environment and uses a technical, spicy approach that will leave clients feeling more grounded and more resilient.

Rebecca Greenbaum-Goodhart


East Hampton

Rebecca Greenbaum is a Brooklyn and Sag Harbor based Pilates Instructor and dancer. She has been teaching Pilates since 2011. She holds a Bachelors from Skidmore College, a Masters in Fine Arts in Dance from NYU Tisch, and a classical Pilates certification from the Equinox Training Institute. She is also a certified pre/postnatal Exercise specialist by Pronatal fitness and a certified pre/postnatal Pilates specialist by Mama Like Me. She also completed her 200 hour Yoga Instructor certification from Y7. She is currently a teacher trainer for the Rebel Pilates Collective. When she is not teaching, she is performing in Jamal Jackson Dance Company, a NYC based contemporary dance company, and raising her two daughters, Penelope and Shoshana.

Shannon Bell

Shannon is a certified Pilates instructor, dancer, and movement specialist with a passion for helping clients find freedom and connection in their bodies. Her journey began as a dancer navigating chronic pain and autoimmune symptoms, leading her to discover the transformative power of Pilates. With a comprehensive Classical Pilates Certification from The Pilates Center, a BFA in Dance, and continued training in anatomy, biomechanics, and other somatic practices, Shannon brings a holistic and science-backed approach to her teaching. Shannon helps clients establish communication with their body while developing strong organized movement patterns to move with ease and strength.
